X ( Twitter) Banned The Cactus Patch!


Do I Look Upset?

It finally happened; X formally suspended my account on their platform either for a week or until death, whichever comes first.

Why? Because I commented on a video from a conservative site. It showed a large, rather violent black woman assaulting an old white man in a jogging suit who clearly had trouble ambulating. Punching, kicking, and knocking the poor guy down, then kicking him like a football, and everyone around, instead of helping stop the attack, had their phones out, filming it. That’s what we do now; we think our little video might get us a thousand likes or a Pulitzer Prize. Lord help us if we should get involved, “Not my problem, man.” But, it is our problem if we allow this type of behavior. People on the street are out of control. Normal behavior no longer exists in our society. We have been replaced with violent Pod People.

My comment was neither rude nor profane like so many I’ve read. Just an honest comment about how Karma comes around and her’s will in time. Well, maybe it was a little snarky, but not too.

I’m not upset or mad but rather proud that the little green-haired, Birkenstock-wearing, pierced-face, hairy-legged, bottom-dwelling, Red Bull-drinking, tofu-eating, vegan, half-starved, woke-assed, pimple-popping, ass-picking, safe room-hiding, breast-nursing, skinny jean-wearing, gimlet-assed little morons at X think I am a danger to free speech.

I may be, since my blog and I make fun of everyone, including all politicians and sometimes folks like the Popester.

  1. Wow, complain about that. Usually it’s not Musk doing it and he reverses some of that. Imagine they claim that incites violence, but that is crazy. Karma is NOT violence. What a place we live in now.

  6. I was banned a couple of years ago. I’d written an obvious joke, that over 1,000 followers knew was a joke, but some idiot at Twitter took it seriously. I appealed the decision, and the appeal has gone nowhere. I don’t really care, to be honest. I don’t have time to waste on X.

  7. You may have left out a couple of adjectives in your description of woke folk, but we get the picture. I have much to say about this, but I’m so weary of the circus that I can’t muster the energy. “ Trust the science!”, they say, “Just don’t mention the chromosomes.” Come quickly Lord Jesus! ( About this I am not kidding.)

    1. I did leave some out, WP is a family site and my grandkids read my blog. I think Jesus is holding off a bit longer, he’s just enjoying the circus we have created.

    1. Thanks, Nancy. That old man could have been me. I use a cane to walk and am not as nimble and quick as I used to be. Nothing gets me madder than disrespect for our seniors and veterans. This world is not safe for old folks.

  9. You just love trouble Phil and that is the reason I keep coming back! The world is like a terrible alternate universe right now…I’ve been reading about the Squatters in New York taking over peoples houses and the owners get arrested!
    Yea Musk would probably reverse it.

    1. Yeah, he did reverse it after 48 hours, but my feelings are hurt son now I’m done with X. What’s with all these squatters? My parents used to call them relatives that wouldn’t leave. A sack full of Copperheads dumped down the chimmney would probably clear them out.

        In New York (of course) it’s getting really bad. You can’t get them out legally because of their stupid laws.
        Relatives that wouldn’t leave…that is a great one…I wish they would squat in a politicans house…

  11. Some of us knew it was only a matter of time.  I was trying to organize a raffle on when and for how long, but my holiday plans got in the way.  Dagnabbit.

    1. I could have used one. X decided to reinstate me after two days, but I deleted my account, so no more. I am shocked at how many post are vile and threatening the demise of folks they don’t like. My post was like a shirley temple in a bar full of drunks. Thanks for asking about a wittness.

  13. It’s a badge of courage and heroism to be banned. I’m so proud of you.
    Any conservative, patriotic and Davy Crockett fan who gets banned is alright in my book.
    The most I was banned by FB was 30 days on 2 occassions out of 12 total so far. Twitter, a week only twice. Salute!

    1. Thank you, Jack. I am rather proud of the red letter they stamped on my forehead. And here I thought old Elon was a free speech kinda Texan. Well I’m sure he is, but not the humanoids that work for him, the checkers and such. Speaking of Davy, I’m fixin to put another story about him on the cactus patch. I got an alert from my genealogy site that I am related to him, so the research begins.
