The Swifter Bowl Has Arrived To Save Las Vegas


New Just In From Las Vegas; The NFL has issued a statement that says they will postpone the start of the Super Bowl ( swifter bowl) until Taylor Swift is seated with her entourage in her million-dollar suite.

It’s also reported that a crowd of ten thousand Swifty Fans will greet her at the airport and carry her on a river of fans to the stadium, her feet never touching the pavement. Once there, she will be seated on a throne and carried by young Swifty pre-teens to her suite. The Mehomes chick will have to find her own way up there.

Personally, if they show her more than twice in the first quarter, I will switch to Yellowstone. But then again, I may not watch the Super Thang at all.

Something to ponder: Why is it called the Super Bowl, and the winners are the World Champions? No one in the world except Canada plays American-style football. Imagine a team from Somalia or India playing the Chiefs; then they might earn the title of World Champions. The dudes from Africa would be great receivers because they can outrun a Lion, and that’s quite a feat.

  5. I don’t watch professional football. because —
    Taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful to those who gave up their lives in defense of the United States and its people.
    Replacing our national anthem with the BLACK national anthem is disgusting. Anyone who allows this to go forth unchallenged deserves the kind of America only Biden can provide.

    I don’t watch college football because —
    Ninety percent of those players don’t belong in college and wouldn’t be there at all, except that colleges and universities have become corrupt and dishonest.
    Admitting people to college when they are intellectual zeroes is un-American … even when they are kommunikation majors

    I don’t watch Taylor Swift because the Pope hasn’t granted me a special dispensation.

    1. I missed her, we were watching the last episode of Yellowstone. I wasn’t impressed with any of it, and hate to admit the Bud Light commercial was the best of the lot. Not a great event anymore.

      1. I think the game was thrown, too. There was a LOT of chatter and talk about “changes” to “rules” with the overtime. Many of the ’49ers players were interviewed and, apparently, none of them knew anything of the “changes.” Their 1st & down was suddenly changed to 2nd & 7…or something like that. Viola. The Chiefs win.

        Then there was the opening ceremony for the Black National Anthem. I’m glad I was in the kitchen for that one.

        Halftime show was weird. I couldn’t watch.

        Superbowls from the 60s, 70s & 80s are long gone. They are, literally, as old as I am. My mom was pregnant with me for the first one.
