Warning: This is going to get political and personal

Oh my, the good things social media has done for our country. How can we count them? I will start with a smattering: Slandering innocent folk, lies that ruin lives and businesses, verbal abuse of children so vile they are driven to suicide, outing, bullying, fake news, pushing transgenderism as a way of life, or do it to be cool and in with the hip crowd, attacks on Christianity and churches, organizing riots and rebellions, burning churches, blacks against whites, browns against whites, Muslim againts whites, organized tribalism, personal attacks from a maniacal moron on a keyboard — it’s all there in living color on your screen. Your children see it every day, whether you know it or not; it’s in your face —24-7. I see it, and it is disgusting. Our media on television or in print cannot be trusted; they are as corrupt as a new-age Charles Manson with a new following. Israel is under constant attack, organized by fanatics on social media and fueled by Middle Eastern hatred of the Jews, yet the American Jewish community does nothing.

Politics, the favorite subject that divides families, alienates adult children from parents and grandparents, drives educators to indoctrinate children with liberal talking points, disrespect for America, disrespect for everything in our country, invasions from foreign countries hell-bent on taking over our country and way of life, worthless politicians that lie, cheat, steal, make under-the-table deals, passing the Ace card with their toe to their buddy at the table. At least LBJ met with his cronies in a back room and plied them with whiskey and cigars. Muslims and Islam holding public offices and turning entire cities into little Mecca. The collapse of Western civilization in real time. Europe is lost to Islam; their culture is trampled under the feet of Allah and his minions, who are now here and about to do the same to us. The three assassination attempts on our president, and no one knows anything about the shooters? The killing of a Christian influencer and father, Charlie Kirk; the handful of senators that are foreign-born and should not be allowed to hold office; the handful of senators who talk a tough game but have done nothing to stop the corruption; insider trading that allows our elected officials to become exorbitantly wealthy; political office for life for doing nothing for the American people; the IRS that terrorizes our citizens like the Nazies of 1930s Germany. Our elected officials protect each other at all costs. Hollywood is a group of people who are pure evil and out of touch with reality, yet Americans adore them because they read lines written by agenda-driven writers, and then the immature, narcissistic actors imitate their interpretation of real life, not ours.

We can’t blame all of this on social media like X, Facebook, Substack, TikTok, and the rest, but without those platforms, the downfall of this Republic would slow to a crawl and would be manageable by the people who want to save our country. So here I am, using the WordPress blogging platform to spout off. I am a hypocrite, in a way, but if I wrote it on a typewriter and sent it to the paper, it would never be published; no one but a secretary or proofreader would see it, forgotten truths that would not see the light of day — so I will wear that wool shirt and self-flagellation for a while longer, but I will not accept the downfall of this country, and will go down fighting, as we Texans did at the Alamo.

Until I sat down and listed everything that is going on in this world, in our country, the realization of the actual demonic attacks didn’t register. Like a lot of you, I assumed things would get along as always; we’ll be alright, folks will smarten up and fly right, and the world and our country will be as strong as always. But now I feel different, and not in a good way. Many Preachers, Pastors, and Priests shout that the end times are upon us; they may be right, but there’s no way to know. All the biblical signs are there, out in the open, taken from Scripture, shown on your TV screen, on websites, on (ugh) social media. The information is there for us to digest; whether we believe it or not is our choice. God is good; he does have a sense of humor, but he is also vengeful against evil, and we are up to our necks in a boiling pot of evil stew. Sodom and Gomorrah were nothing compared to what our world has become. These self-righteous celebrities say, ” they are ashamed to be American”; well, I am ashamed of our Americans for letting this happen to our Republic. Benjimen Franklin was right when he told the lady in Philadelphia, “Madam, we have given you a Republic, if you can keep it.”
